Chronic Disease
Definition: A chronic disease is a long-lasting health condition that usually develops slowly and can last for months or years, like diabetes, heart disease, and liver disease.

In a representative survey of EIPH community members, respondents were asked if they had ever been diagnosed with a list of chronic diseases. This list includes stroke, cancers, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, heart disease, and liver disease.
